Shader programming
This project was made in unreal and this video showcases the shaders that I created and implemented into the environment. There are also some Niagara systems, particle effects and lighting.
VR meditation
This project was a group project and the brief was to create a meditation game. Our idea was to create a colouring game where the player would have the freedom to colour in the environment and trigger some animations. I worked on the code and integrating code into the XR toolkit and its interactions.
Unreal First person (shooter)
In this project our task was to create a first person shooter game however I did not want to use a gun. Instead I made the player have magnetic powers so they can move objects and shoot magnetic energy. This is the cinematic video of the environment that I created. In the gallery section images of what the game play looks like can be found.
VR archery
This was a group project where we created our own brief. This project was completed over a span of 2-3 months and allows the player to use multiple bows and a crossbow to shoot targets.
Mixed reality
This is my Main individual project where the brief was to create a mixed reality strategy game. The research was to analyse how hand tracking compared to controllers affects cognitive load and immersion on the players. The outcome was not as simple as I imagined as more factors such as experience, time and quality of life features needed to be considered more.
